Barni Spark Racing World Superbike rider Danilo Petrucci suffered a major injury during a motocross training session. His participation in next weekends World Superbike Championship remains doubtful pending preliminary examination. Barni Spark Racing stated, “As a result of a fall during a training with the motocross bike Danilo Petrucci suffered a fracture of the right clavicle and jaw.” It was later announced that Petrucci would undergo surgery.
Given that the next round is one week away time is against Petrucci for getting fit enough to race. We would assume he will miss at least the next round depending on how he recovers from surgery. More to come as we receive updates.
