The first round of Nitrocross Utah 2024 has come to an end. Andreas Bakkerud took home the win.
Qualifying One
Group One
Fraser McConnell topped the first qualifying group. With a time 0.189 seconds faster than Tanner Foust. Viktor Vranckx finished third fastest in the group, 0.726 seconds slower than McConnel and 0.537 seconds slower than Foust. Conner Martell rounded out the times in the group, with a time 0.020 seconds slower than Vranckx.
Group Two
Andreas Bakkerud took home the fastest time in the second group. As the Norwegian set a time 0.318 seconds faster than Robin Larsson. Kevin Eriksson finished with the third fastest in the group, 0.535 seconds slower than Bakkerud and 0.217 seconds slower than Larsson. Oliver Eriksson was fourth fastest, 0.054 seconds slower than his brother Kevin. Lia Block rounded out the times in the group, finishing 1.225 seconds slower than Oliver Eriksson.
Qualifying Two
Oliver Eirksson topped the second qualifying. With a time 0.568 seconds faster than Kevin Eriksson. Conner Martell finished third fastest, 0.858 seconds slower than Oliver and 0.290 seconds slower than Kevin. Viktor Vranckx rounded out the times in the qualifier, setting a time 0.168 seconds slower than Martell.
Qualifying Three
Tanner Foust set the fastest time in the third qualifier. As the American set a time 0.108 seconds faster than Andreas Bakkerud. Robin Larsson was third fastest, 0.933 seconds slower than Foust and 0.825 seconds slower than Bakkerud. Fraser McConnell rounded out the times in the qualifier, with a time 0.068 seconds slower than Larsson.
Heats
Heat One
Andreas Bakkerud topped the first heat group. With a time 0.820 seconds faster than Fraser McConnell. Viktor Vranckx finished third fastest, 4.194 seconds slower than Bakkerud and 3.374 seconds slower than McConnell.
Heat Two
Robin Larsson took a commanding win in the second heat group. As the Swede set a time 3.166 seconds faster than Oliver Eriksson. Tanner Foust rounded out the top three, finishing 4.500 seconds slower than Larsson and 1.334 seconds slower than Eriksson.
Semi-Finals
Semi-Final One
Andreas Bakkerud took home the win in the first semi-finals of Nitrocross Utah. With a time 4.190 seconds faster than Viktor Vranckx. Conner Martell was third fastest, 4.473 seconds slower than Bakkerud and 0.283 seconds slower than Vranckx.
Semi-Final Two
Robin Larsson topped the second semi-final. With a time 1.780 seconds faster than Fraser McConnell. Kevin Eriksson finished third fastest, 31.90 seconds slower than Larsson and 1.410 seconds slower than McConnell.
Last Chance Qualifier
Tanner Foust topped the LCQ, with a time 0.509 seconds faster than Oliver Eirksson. Lia Block did not finish the race.
Nitrocross Utah Finals
Andreas Bakkerud set the fastest time in the finals to take home the win. As Bakkerud set a time 0.953 seconds faster than Robin Larsson. Oliver Eriksson finished with the third fastest time, 4.237 seconds slower than Bakkerud and 3.284 seconds slower than Larsson. Fraser McConnell was fourth fastest, 0.470 seconds slower than Eriksson. Kevin Eriksson rounded out the top five times, finishing 0.876 seconds slower than McConnell.
